Carolina Christmas - Part 2

We had a Wonderful Christmas! Anne and I keep the girls at our house on Sunday night and all day Monday. Then on Christmas Eve, we took them home and sayed overnight so we that could be there on Christmas morning. Everyone had a great time, opening presents, playing with toys and having Christmas dinner. Anne and I came back home Christmas evening and the trip only took 40 minutes, not 8 - 9 hours like before.

Carolina Christmas

As our first Christmas in Sun City approaches, we are excited to be close to our family but still at home. No long trip this year. We wish a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all of our family, friends and readers of this blog!

United!

"When we remove from this place, we engage as soon as possible to unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's word." On each second Sunday for nearly 27 years Anne and I joined with members of First Baptist Church of Guilford and Reverend John L. Wright in reading the Church Covenant. I'm happy to report that on last Sunday, December 16, 2007, we united with Boyd Hill Baptist Church located in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

We are looking forward to worshipping, fellowshipping and serving the Lord under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and our new Pastor, Reverend J. T. Barber.

Praise the Lord1

Christmas Pictures

Each year at Christmas the younger Lauhers go for their annual sitting. The results are in and look great. The girls are growing to be such beautiful young ladies. You can see more here!

They are all getting older. As for me, I'm getting younger. It must be the southern air.
