Shadow Shot Sunday #6 - Newport Self-portait

Several year ago, I took this photograph of the 40 steps leading up to Narragansett Ave from the Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island. I didn't realize until later that I had taken a self-portrait.

Lovely shot - very cool to have captured your own shadow!

What a fun shadow shot! I'm always surprised when I "catch" myself in shadow form when I'm actually shooting something else. Marks me as an amateur, I'm afraid!

Have a lovely evening, Moe!

The photo artist often does not get the recognition from the public he deserves. So you have taken the initiative in letting us see the artis at work. A wonderful perspective!

Great photo! I love those nice surprises in photographs! You captured a great shadow! Sometimes I do it on purpose, especially when the sun is low and the shadows are really long! Fun!
