Sky Watch Friday #8 - Mt. Greylock


Rising 3,491 feet high, Mt. Greylock, located in Taconic Mountains near the Berkshire highlands, is the highest point in Massachusetts. Pictured above is the Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower, built at the summit in 1932. When the sky is clear, as it was when I took this photograph, you can see into 70 -90 miles into five states.

Looks like a good place to spend the "equinox" Had the chance to go to summit of Mt. Washington once..Was a little icy
