That's My World #5 - The Magnolia Inn Bed and Breakfast

This week my world expanded to include Chester, South Carolina where Anne and I celebrated our forty-second wedding anniversary with a Sunday night stay at the Magnolia Inn Bed and Breakfast. Situated in a early twentieth-century Victorian home, the Magnolia Inn was a beautiful place to stay. The owners, Mike and Marsha, made us feel right at home. Below are a few photographs of the Inn. You can read more about the Inn here.

Congratulations to you and your wife. I have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast but from the wonderful photos you showed...I would love to stay at the same place.

It sounds wonderful and looks beautiful.

Looks like a delightful place to spend a weekend! Thanks for you comment on my soybeans, Moe. That is a very nice tribute to your Father! John Deere is popular here in our part of Maryland, especially the combines. I will post a smaller Deere that may interest you later today on Lew's Pics, one of my other blogs.

Congrats on your anniversary! May you have more good years together. I like bed and breakfast inns more than hotels because they usually are more personalized in service and homey in ambience. My World is up too.

I just happened upon your blog, and thought I would mention that the Magnolia had a fire in February 2010, and is currently being rebuilt. (Thank goodness for general liability insurance nc) Anyhow, you can read more about it at http://www.heraldonline.com/2010/02/04/1919140/chesters-magnolia-inn-to-be-rebuilt.html
P.S. - I love the photos you posted!
