That's My World #6 - Lancaster, South Carolina

The city of Lancaster, South Carolina was founded in 1802 and is the County Seat for Lancaster County. It is located several miles south of where we live in Sun City Carolina Lakes. I took a walk down Main Street the other day.

The County Court House was set on fire by an arsonist last year and is now being repaired.

Two large murals reflect civic pride.

Many of the buildings on Main Street have been re-purposed for today's activities.

A local artist worked with city children to create several stainless steel street benches.

I'm looking forward to exploring the City of Lancaster and Lancaster County as part of my world.

To see the worlds of others all over Planet Earth go to That's My World!
