Window Views #6

When is a window not a window at all? When it's a mirror? North and South Wholesale on Main Street in Lancaster, South Carolina presents this view of the other side of the street to passersby. I wonder what it looks like from the inside.

I like the reflection in the window.

Itmakes for clearer reflections, but is annoying ... to someone who likes to peer into windows!

Maybe it is a two-way mirror?

On the other side, there are people with cameras looking through the one-way mirror. Guess what! They took your photo. :)

Sure beats a blank wall. Nice shot. Guess they don't like passersby peeking in their window.

The view of the other side of the street from the shop front is very clear, isn't it. I love to see the way that nature/physics and our poor human brain plays with light.

A very good question!
Is it perhaps a two way mirror?

Great shot! My first thought was that the glass was so clean it looked like a mirror, then I read the caption! Kathy
