Shadow Shot Sunday #9 - At the brickyard

A conveyor belt casts an interesting shadow at the brickyard in Van Wyck, South Carolina. A strong sun and clear blue sky makes for beautiful color combinations.

The shadow differs from the subject it seems. I almost see a freight train climbing up to the precipice. The beauty of shadows is that they compel our imaginations to see many different things...

I agree with Ralph about shadows compelling our imagination to see many different things and this is a great example! Terrific shadow shot for the day, Moe! Hope you had a happy Christmas and wishing you a very Happy New Years! Enjoy!

I love this, the vibrant blue and how it's all broken up by the shadows.
