D is for Doby's Bridge Road - ABC Wednesday

ABC Wednesday is a blog where participants share postings with subjects that begin with a specific letter. Today the letter is "D."

My "D" is for Doby's Bridge Road. In York County, South Carolina along the Catawba River, James Doby built a flour mill back in the middle of the 19th century. In order that farmers might reach his mill with their wagons, he also built a bridge across Sugar Creek somewhere near the location of this present bridge. Today Doby's Bridge Road runs from Fort Mill to Indian Land.

I like that perspective! I like Country Music...and I'd say Willie Nelson is singing "On the Road Again"
